Hunting in the Field of Bone

The Field of Bone can take you as far as level 21, 22.

You can hunt here from level 1, if you stay near the guards. At level 5 or 6 you can move on and hunt Large Scorpions and Scalebone/Militia Skeletons. When you reach level 7 or 8 you can hunt near the 4 pillar building with two statues. Scaled Wolves, Scaled Wolf Hunters, Scalebone Skeletons are all possible targets.

After this you can begin hunting Giant Scorpions and Bandits (follow the road from the 4 pillar building), and when these no longer reward decent experience, its time to visit the pit.

You will find in the pit there is a large dinosaur skeleton, mobs will spawn here to take you up to level 16 and possibly beyond if you move further towards Kurn's Tower. It is best to stay near the edge of the pit or you risk other mobs joining in the fights.

At level 18 or possibly lower you can begin hunting behind Kurn's Tower, Heartstring Scorpions, Lesser Icebone Skeletons, Iksar Marauders and Scaled Wolves will all reward experience.

When you reach the twenties you can move on to Swamp of No Hope, Lake of Ill Omen or even leave Kunark, though there is no reason to.

It is also possible to hunt in Kurn's Tower from level 14 onwards though you will need a group until at least 16-17. Kurn's Tower is much better experience but it is significantly more dangerous than the Field of Bone.

Scaled Wolf Hunter, Cub, Wolf, Pup, Tracker
