High Hold Keep

High Keep is a fairly large zone with many merchants and supplies available as you would find in a small town. There is a bank close by the hunting grounds and it is possible to be bound inside the keep.

The hunting grounds are in the basement at the bottom floor of the keep, they basically consist of 4 rooms of varying difficulty. Depending on the levels of people in the zone it can usually take up to 20 people.

The first room on the right from the stairs down is the Lookout room, the goblin lookouts that spawn here are fairly low levels and a group of level 17s or so could probably camp this room.

The second room (the one you enter from the stairs) is the guard room. The goblin guards are usually camped by a group of 22 to 28ish levels. By level 30 the experience in this room isn't worth the fight.

The third room (down a passage to the left of the guard room), contains the goblin warriors, these are a lot more powerful and usually camped by levels 25 to 30 plus. The warrior room has 4 spawns and is usually the most wanted camp in the zone.

The fourth room which is down again from the warrior room contains raiders, these are the most powerful goblins in the zone and can take you from level 25 to 35 easily. It is possible to get to 40 in the warrior and raider rooms but the experience will be much slower than you are used to in this zone.

In each room there are goblins which spawn occasionally, crazed goblins, goblin thieves and cabalists spawn in most of the basement. Seers spawn in the warrior and raider rooms, these are the most powerful caster goblins you will find.

Apart from the very good experience a lot of people prefer High Keep to other level 20 plus zones because of the loot. Goblins can drop up to around 5 platinum per kill deeper in the basement and commonly drop fine steel weapons and bronze plate.

A few things to note; 1. Even though this zone acts as a dungeon, even with a heavy XP bonus, it is actually considered an outdoor zone. This means you can cast SOW and other outdoor only spells.

2. To the right of the bank up the stairs, and then in the room to the left there is a very powerful mage who can help you with trains.

3. The guards in this zone aren't very strong and won't be able to beat the goblins up in time to save your life from a large train. The more powerful goblins actually beat the guards one to one.

4. Most races aren't actually KOS to the goblins to start with and it is only after killing a lot of them that they will attack you.

Camp Locations (17-40):

Lookout Room (Levels 17-23)

Guard Room (Levels 19-26)

Warrior Room (Levels 23-36)

Raider Room (Levels 25-40)
